My relationships inspire me, dictate my choices and provide me with an unwavering support system. This body of work showcases what I value from each relationship and how their characteristics impact who I am.

This series of paintings communicates the feelings and qualities my relationships possess. Utilizing my background in graphic design and mural painting I created my own language through abstract forms and use of color. This language takes my intangible feelings in each relationship, converting them into something that can be seen and communicated. Each piece relays characteristics, of that relationship, in various and specified forms, feelings in colors I have assigned and the number of people, within one relationship, through circular forms.

The paintings can be read and understood by a spectator with this guide that I have designed.

As naturally social creatures, human interaction provides us with a significant part of our identity and is one of our greatest needs. I hope to not only showcase my own relationships but also inspire the spectator to reflect on their relationships, drawing their own conclusions and assigning their own interpretations to my pieces.

These original paintings, prints and stationary are available on my website.
